About the Weekend

The Southwest Master/slave Contest and Leather Run Weekend is the host event for the Southwest Master and slave Contest.  The pair that is awarded the title will represent the Southwest Region and compete at the International Master and slave Contest at South Plains Leather Fest in March of 2026.

Our theme this year is being Comfortable in Our Own Leather

The event opens at 8:00 am Friday July 11, 2025 and runs through 1:30 pm Sunday July 13, 2025.  See the website for schedule details.

You will experience a leather and levi run inspired format with classes, bootblacking, cigar socials, a leather bar themed meet and greet, a kick ass play party, a down-home Sunday Pancake Breakfast, a keynote speech, and of course, the Southwest Master and slave contest.

All attendees MUST be 21 years or older before the start date of the event.

Registration Information

  • The Full Weekend package includes access to all activities over the entire weekend including Saturday Play Party and the Sunday pancake breakfast and keynote speech.

  • The Saturday Only package allows access to all activities on Saturday Only, including the Saturday Play Party

 Southwest Master/slave Contest and Run Weekend Liability Waiver

In consideration of their services, I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Southwest Master/slave Contest and Run Weekend (“the event”), their owners, agents, officers, volunteers, and all other persons acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as “SWMsC”), on behalf of myself, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate, from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, which are in any way connected with my voluntary participation in any activity at the event, or my use of any of the equipment provided by SWMsC.

1. I understand that the phrase “the event” as used in this Release includes all activities that are a part of or associated with Southwest Master/slave Contest Weekend.

2. I assume and accept full responsibility for myself for any bodily injury, death, or loss of personal property that might occur while I am at the event and I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all the risks existing in any activity I undertake while at the event.  My participation in any activity at the event is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the potential risks.  I understand that SWMsC and Voodoo Leatherworks is not responsible for my personal safety while I am at the event.

3. In consideration for the right to participate in the event, to participate in consensual bondage and/or sadomasochistic activities at the event, and in any other activities in which I may participate while at the event, I hereby certify that I am in good physical, mental, emotional, and psychological health with no defects, illnesses or conditions that might be injurious to me or to others, and that I am able to physically and emotionally handle the associated risks inherent in consensual bondage and/or sadomasochistic activities and any conditions that may be associated with such activities or with my observation of these activities, or any other activities in which I may participate while at the event.

4.  I acknowledge that activities that I may participate in at the event entail both known and unanticipated risks.  I understand that such risks cannot be completely eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activities.  I acknowledge that these risks could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death, or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties, and include:  scratches, cuts, sprains, strains, bruises, contusions, lacerations, scalding and burning, breaks and fractures, and severe contortion of the human body.  I further acknowledge that the foregoing list of possible injuries and injurious acts is neither complete nor exclusive.

5.  I understand that the event has its own rules and guidelines. I agree to read these rules and guidelines fully, and to abide by them, at all times during the event. I understand the owners/producers of SWMsC have, at their sole discretion, the right to require me to leave the event at any time without refund of monies paid to participate in the event.

6.   I understand that the use or possession of recreational or illegal drugs or controlled substances without a current prescription at the event is prohibited.  I further understand that the use or possession of firearms (both real and realistic replicas) at the event is prohibited.  I also understand that the act of offering, soliciting or agreeing to an act of prostitution, or pay for play which for this event is defined as an exchange of money for sexual gratification, is strictly forbidden at the event.  Violation of any of the aforementioned will result in my immediate expulsion from the event, without reimbursement, and with the possibility of civil and/or criminal complaints being charged against me.

7.  I am an adult at least 21 years of age, and I understand that I must present a valid government issued photo ID showing my legal name and birth date and sign this release in order to gain admittance to the event.  I further affirm that the photo identification I present is an accurate representation of my identity.  I further state that all the activities I either participate in or witness at the event shall remain confidential.  I understand that participants at the event are acting as consenting adults in a private situation, conforming to the event rules and guidelines that are posted throughout the event. I also understand and agree that by entering the event, I am knowledgeable that the event may include full or partial nudity by some of the participants, as well as acts of a sexual nature. These sights will not offend me.

8.  I understand that photography (including, but not limited to, digital images captured by cell phones, cameras or other devices) videography, audio recordings or any other audio or visual recording of any kind, is not permitted in any part of the event without the express approval of the event owners.

9.  I am not acting in the capacity of, as a member of, or under the direction of, any law enforcement or postal agency or governmental agency of any type, whether federal, state or local in nature.  I am not attending the event or any of the activities at the event for the purpose of entrapment or to gather information and/or testimony that would lead to (or further the arrest or prosecution of) the owners and organizers of the event, the owners of the premises, or any individual attending the event. Furthermore, I am not acting in the capacity of, as a member of, or under the direction of, any media agency. I will not publish or submit for any kind of publication information, writings, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, or any other records of activities regarding the event or activities at the event, without the express approval of the owners of the event.

10.  I agree that if any portion of this release is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portion shall remain in full force and effect.  I understand that I may not add to, change or delete any of the provisions of this release.

11.  By signing this release, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in any activity at the event, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against the event on the basis of any claim I have released herein.

I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document.  I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.

Donations of silent auction items from members of the community are always welcome, as they help to support the wining pair's travel fund for their title year and helps to support their travel to compete at the International M/s contest.
